Find a MoneyGram branch near you, or go to a Tesco or Post Office.
Please bring your passport and identity card.
You must know the transfer recipient’s complete name, nationality, and address.
If the transfer is to a bank account, you’ll need to know the name of the bank as well as the account number.
Transferring money to a mobile wallet requires the recipient’s phone number as well as the international code of the country to which the transfer is being made.
To make a MoneyGram transfer in the UK, complete the following steps:
- Go to the MoneyGram branch closest to your “Tesco or post office.”
- Complete the money transfer form.
- Show the responsible staff your personal ID (residence ID or passport).
- Send the addressee the 8-digit reference number.
- Money provided to the bank account or cell phone will be deposited immediately.
Receiving money transfer in UK
If the transfer is sent to your bank account or mobile phone, you will not need to take any action because the money will be deposited directly into your account.
If the money is sent to you for cash receipt, you will need to do the following steps:
- Go to the nearest MoneyGram branch to you “Post office or Tesco”.
- Fill out the MoneyGram Receipt Form and write the transfer reference number.
- Show your personal ID “residence ID or passport” to the responsible employee.
- Receive the transfer.
