Windsor Castle
I was mesmerized by the spectacular architecture of Windsor Castle. It was built by King Charles II in the late 1600s. It has many priceless works of art in its grand state apartments.
It is famous for its views of Windsor Great Park, and its Chapel of St. George is more of a miniature cathedral and royal mausoleum than a chapel. Its perpendicular architecture is an example of the craftsmanship of the time. As I looked around this amazing castle, which is the world’s oldest and largest inhabited castle, I couldn’t help but be amazed.
